February 2010 - NSW EFA Annual Awards
Congratulations to two outstanding Towtown progeny and their owners on the following results at their respective EFA State Awards nights:-

February 2010 - National Riding Pony Show - Werribee

February 2010 - Royal Canberra Show
Rothwell Toytown's outstanding stock dominated this year's Canberra Royal!!!! 

Westlake Living Doll,from WA, competed against the best in the country in the Open Pony Hack classes to win the coveted Champion Open Large Pony. 
Nottingham Fine Print had another excellent show winning Champion Ridden ANSA exhibit.  She placed 5th in her led ANSA mare class, 3rd in the led Galloway, 2nd in the prestigious Ladies Galloway to AP Wizardry and 3rd in the open ridden Galloway.

Westlake Grand Affair won Best Novice Large Show Hunter Pony.

Westlake Star Appeal won his Part Welsh Ridden class and was also placed 5th in the Open Pony 12.2hh - 13hh.

Westlake Peter Pan won his Part APBS/APSB Riding Pony class.

Congratulations to all the owners of these wonderful Toytown progeny!
AP Wizardry also had a terrific show for his first Canberra Royal Show, winning the ridden Riding Pony 14 -14.2, and then won the Ladies Galloway against a record number of entries (75), culminating in being awarded Reserve Champion Galloway.

March 2010 - Grand National
Westlake Stud were ever proud of the Toytown progeny at this year's Grand National Show Horse and Rider Championships. 

All representatives did the stud proud, with Terry Lamey & Leah Walsh's most beautiful AP Wizardry who was Runner Up Small Galloway.  Top ten placings also went to the stunning Westlake Living Doll (Large Pony) and the gorgeous Nottingham Fine Print (Large Galloway) pictured below. 

We look forward to seeing some of these outstanding Toytown progeny compete again at Sydney Royal next week and wish them all the best for their classes.
April 2010 - Sydney Royal Easter Show
The Easter Show is off to a very successful start for the Toytown progeny competing this year!!

Starting with the ANSA classes on Friday, Pam Bush's highly successful Nottingham Fine Print worked as beautifully as ever to win Champion Ridden ANSA.  This is the 2nd Royal Show Champion Ridden ANSA win this year for Pam & Fine Print, following on from Canberra Royal in February!!  Well done!

Saturday saw the commencement of the galloway classes, and the outstanding AP Wizardry, once again capably ridden by Terry Lamey, continued his winning form taking out the coveted Best Novice Galloway!!  This prestigious award has now been won two years in a row by Toytown progeny.




April 2010 - Stroud Show
A great day was had by Ben accompanied by Krystle McGuiness, at Stroud Show with the lovely little grey gelding by Toytown, BV In the Moment.  This was the first ridden outing for the newcomer pony and he didn't disappoint as can be seen by the results below!

April 2010 NSW EFA Horse of the Year
Toytown progeny continue to dominate the show ring with outstanding successes at this year's EFA Horse of the Year Show at SIEC.

Westlake Enraptured, divine daughter of our wonderful foundation broodmare, Langtree Ever So Fair, has had a sensational start to her newcomer saddle career by achieving New Star Large Pony of the Year and Champion Intermediate Large Pony of the Year.  we were thrilled with this result for such a young pony!

AP Wizardry followed on from his Canberra and Sydney successes was awarded Champion Small Galloway of the Year!  What a show this marvellous young galloway put on with his foot-perfect and exciting workout - what a star!!

For the 2nd year in a row, the ever consistent and lovely Nottingham Fine Print won Champion Large Galloway of the Year!

Again our logo "Built to Ride, Bred to Win" has come to fruition with these fantastic results - a true testament to our vision of producing wonderful saddle horses with our sire Rothwell Toytown.
October 2010 - SHC Horse of the Year
Toytown stock continue to dominate the big shows with Allambie Park First Impressions Champion Newcomer at EFA and Hack Council Horse of the Years.

And just when we thought the day couldn't get any better AP Wizardry won Champion Ridden Saddle Pony with Westlake Grand Affair taking out the Reserve Championship in the same class.  Also on Saddle Pony day, W. Grand Affair won the led saddle pony gelding class for the third year in a row.  And the beautiful Westlake National Anthem won the Saddle Pony colt class culminating in Reserve Champion Saddle Pony Stallion or Colt.

AP Wizardry continued to have an outstanding show placing 2nd in the open Lightweight Galloway 14 -14.2hh and for the second Royal Show in a row, won the coveted Ladies Galloway class.  On the same day, AP Wizardry won the ridden Riding Pony 13.2 - 14.2hh.

May 2010 - WA Updates

Westlake Living Doll had another successful show winning Champion Large Pony.  

Allambie Park First Impresions also won Champion Large Galloway again. 

Both horses retained their Championship titles for a second year in a row - congratulations to the owners!

September 2010 - Updates
AP Wizardry again had another terrific show.  This absolutely fabulous horse is in a league of his own offering the crowd another show stopping workout to win Small Galloway of the Year for the second year in a row. Congratulations to Terry Lamey and Leah Walsh on a wonderful performance.

Nottingham Fine Print put on another foot perfect show and was capably ridden by the effervescent Pam Bush, to be awarded Runner Up Large Galloway of the Year.

Our two newcomers also had a good show with Westlake Enraptured and BV In the Moment, both gaining top ten newcomer Large Pony and high placings in the Preliminary.

Another great result from our consistant saddle champions in WA!!!! Westlake Living Doll and Allambie Park First Impressions (right) repeated their performances from last year to win SHC Large Pony and Large Galloway of the Year again!!!! Congratulations!!!

A fabulous results for our little star, considering he hasn't been broken in 12 months. He took it all in his stride, proving that he is maturing into a fabulous versatile childs show pony like so many of his siblings.

Westlake Stud have said goodbye to their beloved Bellevale In the Moment, who has been sold to the wonderful Jones Family from Scone.  They are delighted with their new pony who has fitted in well to his new home and had many placings recently at Canberra Royal with the Jones children, Campbell and Matilda aboard.

We are looking forward to many more updates from these lovely new found friends on their progress with "Rowdy"! 
December 2010 - Foal Update
We were excited to receive an update recently from Jan Langley from Langtree Riding Pony Stud, who had Toytown stand at her stand for the second half of the 2009 season. 

Pictured right is a gorgeous buckskin filly by Toy out of the legendry imported mare Cusop Diamond.

Congratulations to Debbie and Ashley Pratten of Allambie Park Stud on the purchase of Westlake Exclusive, full brother to the gorgeous Westlake Everlasting and Westlake Enraptured.

Ashley has broken "Fame" in herself and is going kindly.  Another testament to Toytown's stocks fabulous temperament.  We wish Debbie and Ashley all the best with their new pony.

Congratulations to the marvellous AP Wizardry on winning the EA Small Galloway Of The Year again!!!!! As always, he looked and worked a treat for proud owners Terry Lamey and Leah Walsh, making it 4 NSW HOTY titles in a row!!! (and a Runner Up Grand National in the middle!!!)
March 2011 - Mare update

We would like to thank Allison Banks from Roseden Riding Ponies in Sydney NSW, for leasing us the beautiful Mirinda Royal Rose to breed from this season. We have long admired Rose as not only is she extremely well bred, being by the legendary Keston Royal Occasion (imp) (dec) and out of a half sister to the famous Spring Song of Waverly, dam of so many show ring superstars, she herself is well credentialled, with many wins and placing at Royal, HOTY and National level in the Open and Riding Pony ring, including Reserve champion Open Pony Hack at Sydney and Adelaide Royals, as well as being a successful Childs Pony. She is in foal to Rothwell Toy Town and we eagerly await to see what they produce.

Proving that Toy Town's progeny are extremely versatile, here is a photo of multi HOTY champion and Royal show supreme led and ridden winner Westlake Living Doll competing in a One Day Event ridden by Cara Douglas, where she led from Go to Whoa!!!!!

Four months ago she was competing in the Large Pony section at the prestigious EA National Horse Of The Year Show in Werribee, Vic, coming a very creditable third.

April 2011 - Grand Nationals
What a terrific show the Toytown progeny had at the Grand Nationals this year!!  Again the handsome AP Wizardry worked a treat to take out the coveted Small Galloway of the Year!  Congratulations to the owners on doing such a wonderful job with him again!

In the Pony ring, Westlake Hummingbird and Westlake Starstruck both did well gaining top ten placings.  This follows on from a successful Toowoomba Royal Show for Westlake Starstuck who won Champion Pony!

It was wonderful to see so many lovely Toytown progeny competing at the Grand Nationals and doing so well.  Congratulations to all the owners and riders!
